Changing Your Preferences

All settings on this screen save immediately — there is no separate submit button. Toggle a switch or update a field and the change applies to your account right away, so you can return to learning without losing your place.

Settings sync across every device you sign in to. A privacy change made on mobile is enforced the next time your profile loads on desktop, and notification preferences apply platform-wide rather than per browser.

Recommended Configuration

  • New to the platform: leave notifications on default so you learn how engagement flows through the Social Hub.
  • Deep in a roadmap: enable push for likes and comments on your shared progress to stay connected without checking the app.
  • Prefer focus: switch push alerts off and keep email digests so nothing interrupts a study session.
  • Public learner: keep your account public so peers and mentors can discover your roadmaps through Explore.
