The Knowledge Graph

At the heart of RouteRadiant is a dynamic Knowledge Graph. Unlike static textbooks, our graph connects concepts based on prerequisites, relatedness, and difficulty.

When you request a roadmap, the AI traverses this graph to find the optimal path for your specific learning goals and current knowledge level.

Adaptive Difficulty

The system continuously monitors your performance on quizzes and coding challenges. If you're breezing through, it ramps up the complexity. If you're struggling, it offers remedial content and simpler explanations.

Modules and Nodes

A Roadmap consists of Modules (e.g., "Variables", "Loops"). Each Module contains Nodes (specific lessons, quizzes, or labs).

Roadmaps vs Courses

It helps to think of the two units at different scales. A roadmap is your full path to a skill — a sequence of phases that takes you from your current level to a defined goal. Acourse is a focused container inside that path, built around a single coherent topic with its own lessons, quizzes, and objectives. You can generate either on its own: start a roadmap when you want the big picture, or jump straight to a course when you know exactly what to learn next. The Mission Loop

Every node pushes you through the same productive cycle: read or watch a short explanation, attempt a hands-on task or quiz, and receive immediate AI feedback. That feedback is what makes the graph adaptive — each answer updates what the engine believes you know, so the next node is neither boringly easy nor discouragingly hard. Over a whole roadmap these micro-corrections compound into a genuinely personal curriculum.

Why a Graph Beats a Linear Course

A static syllabus assumes every learner starts in the same place. The knowledge graph instead models hundreds of relationships between topics — what depends on what, what is similar, what is a natural next step — and lets the AI pick a route through them. Two people learning the same skill can therefore follow different orders, and both are valid. That flexibility is what allows RouteRadiant to feel tailored rather than templated.
