  • ✓Write a clear Description of its purpose.
  • ✓Add relevant Tags (e.g., "javascript", "beginners") to help others find it.

What Happens Inside a Group

Groups are where the social layer of RouteRadiant comes alive. Members share roadmaps they are working through, post questions about a specific lesson or mission, and recommend resources that helped them past a difficult concept. Because every group is organized around a skill, the discussion stays productive — you are talking to people learning the same material, not a generic feed.

Activity inside a group is visible to its members and can ripple outward. A great question or a well-made shared roadmap may surface on the Explore feed, which is how strong groups grow and how members gain visibility for their work.

Group Etiquette and Safety

To keep every group a safe, constructive space, RouteRadiant applies AI moderation to discussions. Spam, harassment, and off-topic promotion are filtered automatically, and repeat violations lead to restricted access. In return, members are expected to credit sources when sharing resources and to keep feedback constructive — the goal is everyone leveling up together.

Starting Your Own Community

Founding a group is open to everyone. Pick a topic you are genuinely learning or already strong in, write a description that tells new members exactly what they will get, and add tags so the search and Explore surfaces can match you with the right people. Communities that stay active tend to share one trait: a clear purpose and a leader who posts regularly.
